Win-Tron Racing Enters NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
Competition At Dover International Speedway

DOVER, Delaware (May 28, 2009) - - Lakeville, Minnesota based Win-Tron Racing officially announced today the team’s intention to run a limited schedule in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) beginning with Friday’s AAA Insurance 200 at Dover International Speedway.

The longtime ARCA RE/MAX Series (ARS) organization will debut with veteran driver Scott Wimmer at the helm. The team will utilize the No. 31 Chevrolet Silverado and carry backing from Wolfpack Rentals.

The team enters NASCAR sitting second in the ARCA RE/MAX Series car owner standings after six races this season. The team has notched two wins with fellow NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitor James Buescher. In addition, the team has racked up four top-fives and five top-10 efforts with a worst finish of 11th at Salem Speedway in April.

The rookie team will be guided by veteran ARCA crew chief Mike Chaffee.

“We’re thrilled to be entering the NASCAR ranks and invading the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series,” said Nate Thiesse, co-owner and general manager of Win-Tron Racing. “We’ve been putting this program together for some time now and it’s a relief and with great excitement that we’ll put this program on the track at Dover this weekend.”

Scott has really done a tremendous job in the NASCAR industry and we feel that he will be the gleaming light that steers this new team to the front. We feel that we will be giving him a truck that he can be competitive with and put on a good show for the fans and our sponsor Wolfpack Rentals.”

"I'm really excited to be driving the No. 31 Wolfpack Rentals truck at Dover,” said Wimmer. “Win-Tron is having a great year in the ARCA series and hopefully that momentum will spill over to the truck team.”

Wimmer has just one start in the NCWTS occurring in 2007 where he competed at Homestead-Miami Speedway for David Dollar Motorsports. The Wausau, Wisconsin native has six NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at the “Monster Mile” with one top-10 in his inaugural Dover debut in 2004. Additionally, Wimmer has qualified for 12 NASCAR Nationwide Series events and posted four top-fives including a win in 2002 and five top-10 runs.

Further NCWTS events and driver line-up for Win-Tron Racing will be announced in the near future.

The AA Insurance 200 at Dover International Speedway is set for Friday May 29 at 5:00 p.m. The race will be televised on a tape delay basis on SPEED at 8:00 p.m. The event however will be broadcasted live on the Motor Racing Network (MRN) and Sirius Satellite Radio (and best of Sirius via XM) NASCAR channel 128.
